Day Five- No work done in the studio today apart from our group session which we start with each day; a catch up session from everyone about how their ideas are coming along and some group discussion.

Off out to Sarclet beach (both above) , Nybster Broch and dinner in Wick. Half way through the residency and wondering if I will get much physical samples made; I’m not concerned as I will have enough research material to spark many ideas for the next year but just feels a bit strange when normally I’m busy making most of the time; quite a nice physical break from coldworking.
